About Jargonautical

Lucy Knight works in education, open data and civic tech in the South West of England (and anywhere else she's needed). She started her career in the optoelectronics industry, working in manufacturing support and engineering strategy. In 2002 she moved to public sector roles covering analysis, open data, data strategy and data science, then in 2018 she became an independent consultant and trainer in data literacy, civic tech and open data.

Lucy specialises in making technical topics approachable and engaging, with extensive experience of creating bespoke materials tailored to the needs of her audience.
